It’s All About the Agua!! How Safe is the Water, Really?

After now living here for 4 months its safe to say that we have a pretty good idea of how safe the food and water is! I am a big blogger and fan of groups on Facebook. One of the groups that I check in on daily always has questions about living and moving to Panama.  A post just came up asking about the water and food, and was it safe to eat and drink here. The answer is very much YES!!

The community that we live in is lucky to be supplied by well water. It’s so fresh and pure and tastes great. Some other communities are supplied by IDAAN which is the water service for the whole country of Panama. They might have some issues with water if they have old pipes, or a leak in the system but that could happen in the USA or Canada.

Doing the Non-Tourist things in life is the way the Tiffany and I have always operated. Why do the usual things that are recommend when you could go and explore the roads less traveled and the locals hot spots. We have found so many neat things that are off the beaten path that were far better than the usual to do’s. So why would we be any different in Panama? Tiffany’s Thursday Tips Version 1.0 Apps, Apps and More Apps

In Panama technology is huge! Despite technically being a third world country, Panama is very first world in a lot of ways. They have a well built internet infrastructure, and cellular system as well. Many restaurants, stores, and malls that you go to will offer free wi-fi (here in Panama they pronounce it like wee-fee). That being said if you come here to visit or live here bring an unlocked smart phone that takes a Sim card. If you don’t know what either of these things are you can check out this video on YouTube:
